My hoomans have finally arrived back home!  I missed them so much I laid by my Grandparent’s back door every night waiting…. Of course I had some fun with Uncle Teddy in between…. I must say Skype is VERY confusing, I hear their voices and look everywhere for them but cannot see them.

I got a big surprise when they got back, they were thinking about me and had reminders of me everywhere.  They brought photos back which I’m going to share.

Also my Mum has finally given my column on her blog , Denise’s Dog Dish, it’s own name Shasta’s Yorkie Yap!  Now I can blog about… well whatever I choose.

20150216_045347I’m not so sure about these things, they call them gargoyles.  Also not sure how they reminded them of me but I guess it’s a great view from the top of the Notre Dame in Paris.

When touring the Basilique De St-Denis, a very old church which has been around since 1136.  It is what they call the Royal Necropolis (big words for me) but I’m told 42 kings and 32 queens of France are buried there (thanks Lonely Planet). My hoomans noticed the tomb sculptures there had a lot of animals.  They listened to something called an audio guide that told them the Lions at the feet of a lot of men was a symbol of courage.  My hooman mom liked the fact that a dog was at the feet of the women symbolizing affection and fidelity.  To my fellow dogs, we also represent Crusaders since they “followed the standard of the Cross as faithfully as a dog follows his bosses.  I think that is pretty cool!

Next they went to a place called Prague and there were dogs and cats everywhere!

Even their friend’s neighbor had a door mat with a dog.

Prague rugThey say they miss me when they are gone and are telling me I get to go on their next trip.  I loving going with them in their care but I guess for the next trip I have to learn to use something called an airline pet carrier.  More on that in another post.

Do your hoomans leave you behind or do you get to go?  Have you ridden in an airline carrier?  How was it?  If they leave you, where do you stay?

Here is a new temporary pic for my blog the boss lady tells me I can use it to tell you it’s me!
