Shasta has Cushing’s Disease.
My 1st thought: “At least it’s treatable like Harley’s Diabetes (which you can read about in my book “Not like the others: Harley’s Story-having a pet with special needs”.

Now she is in Misty’s world….. who is doing pretty good, except for progressive blindness, but she knows her path around the house pretty well, and all of her napping spots. Only 5 years old, but gives us so much joyw.
What medicine does Misty take? They adapt very well to going blind, thank goodness!

And here we go on another journey of doggie medicine. Like I’ve said before, God knows what doggie needs whom when rescued, and He paired you up again to give love and learn more! Couldn’t happen to a nicer family for Shasta to arrive in.
Yep, we are special needs magnets! But are happy to have them and love them dearly!
